Are all bonds risk-free?
No. Risk depends on the issuer, structure and market conditions. A stated coupon or credit rating does not eliminate default or liquidity risk.
Can I sell a bond before maturity?
That depends on the instrument and market liquidity. The available sale price may be above or below what you paid, and a buyer may not always be available.
